Job Description
Our mission is to turn data into market-beating trading strategies by using sophisticated mathematical models and cutting-edge technology. The core team consists of top-class developers, quant analysts and traders who are using their accumulated know-how to create a state-of-the-art platform. It is an ambitious and exciting start-up project – no legacy code, no mundane maintenance and outdated technologies, only a pure joy of creating a well-designed piece of software.

We hire only the brightest and the most curious minds. We are looking for university graduates with strong programming skills, a drive and an interest in solving complex problems.
What would you work on
- Leading sales activities for our flexibility portfolio.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of sales strategies for our ‘Trading as a Service’ offering.
- Identifying and acquiring new customers in the field of battery storage and medium-size power plant operators.
- Independently conducting contract negotiations and designing individual marketing solutions.
- Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships with operators, project developers and investors.
- Creating compelling offers and presentations based on concrete performance data from our existing portfolio.
- Analyzing customer requirements and working closely with our analytics team to develop tailored marketing strategies.
- Representing Second Foundation at conferences, trade fairs and industry events.
- Monitoring market developments and competitor activities.
What makes you a great candidate
- Professional experience in B2B sales in the energy sector.
- In-depth understanding of energy markets and trading products.
- Strong technical understanding of power plants and storage technologies.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Initiative, entrepreneurial thinking and goal-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel within Germany.
- Fluent German and at least basic English language skills.
- Class B driving license.
