As our new Director, Supply Chain, you will play a key leadership role in a team dedicated to supporting the business in addressing strategic supply chain challenges. You will provide insights, robust analysis, and clear recommendations to ensure timely and high-quality decision-making.

Your role will be central to leading supply chain activities in complex energy infrastructure projects—offering an exciting opportunity to make a real impact. You will lead a team of skilled specialists, ensuring that our supply chain operations are compliant, efficient, and aligned with our overall business strategy.

This key position involves limited travel, typically between 0 and 10 days per year, depending on client and partner locations. Your primary workplace will be at our yard facilities in Esbjerg—the hub of Denmark’s energy sector, right on the waterfront, with some of the best views around.

Your tasks & responsibilities

As Director, Supply Chain, you will take on end-to-end ownership of supply chain strategy and execution across major complex projects, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Driving supply chain development initiatives with direct access to top management
• Leading improvements to supply chain processes across the value chain (both upstream and downstream)
• Defining and implementing procurement strategies
• Overseeing supplier qualification and leading supplier relationship and commercial management, including negotiation and development of contractual terms.
• Managing cross-functional supply chain development and optimisation projects

Your Profile & Qualifications

As a person, you are known for being proactive, dependable, and a trusted partner among colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders. You thrive in complex environments where you are required to think strategically, manage competing priorities, and drive results through others.

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you:

• Have several years of experience from a senior supply chain or procurement role—preferably within the maritime, offshore, or energy industries.
• Are highly skilled at building strong relationships, influencing key stakeholders, and maintaining trust at all organizational levels.
• Have a creative and analytical approach to problem-solving, combined with strong attention to detail.
• Possess solid experience with supply chain planning, procurement strategy, and supplier performance management.
• Communicate fluently in English and Danish, both verbally and in writing.
