IT License Manager

Job Description

The role is a part of the Global IT Team supporting us with operational and strategical tasks. You will be our internal partner to overview license usage and operate the License-Management.

What will you do?

• You form the interface between procurement, licence management and internal customers in an international environment
• You are responsible for checking licence conditions in the course of contract negotiations for new software demands or renewals
• You drive the further development of the licence management function together with us
• You are responsible for the tool-supported analysis of internal licence requirements
• You advise internally on suitable licence and purchase models in the course of software selection

What will you need to succeed?

• Proven experience (5+ years) as an IT-License-Manager in a comparable position
• Strong understanding of Microsoft license environments
• Strong understanding of IT-Contracts, especially SaaS
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
• First experience in internal software audits is helpful
