Cyber Security Transformation Analyst

Job Description

ScottishPower is seeking a driven and collaborative professional to join our Cyber Strategy & Transformation team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the delivery of our cyber security strategy across all ScottishPower businesses, working closely with both local and global teams to strengthen our security posture.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Head of Cyber Strategy and Transformation, you’ll play a key part in shaping and supporting initiatives that align with our strategic goals. You’ll be involved in assessing current capabilities, identifying areas for improvement, and helping to implement programmes that enhance cyber resilience across the organisation. Your insights and guidance will be valued across the business, as you work with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and understanding of cyber security priorities.

What you'll bring

We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in cyber security—ideally degree-educated in the discipline—with a solid grasp of UK energy sector regulations, frameworks such as ISO 27000 and NIST, and a clear understanding of risk management and threat analysis. You’ll bring technical expertise in areas like data privacy, network security, application security, and access controls, alongside the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and accessible way.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, values continuous learning, and is ready to take ownership of their development. You’ll be supported through mentoring and training, and encouraged to build strong relationships across the business and with external partners, including government agencies and industry bodies.
