Lead - Engineering Excellence QA Engineer (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for engineering and design processes.
• Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulations.
• Support design quality activities including DFMEA, design reviews, and validation testing.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation including procedures, work instructions, and audit reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Provide training and guidance on quality assurance practices and compliance requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
• Participate in regulatory inspections and support compliance audits.

Our requirements

• Proficiency in quality management systems and audit tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in quality assurance within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, auditing practices, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with design quality tools such as DFMEA, root cause analysis, and validation protocols.
• Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and FDA regulations.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent certification preferred.
