Position Summary

Ready to lead from the top? As our Roof Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of solar installation—guiding teams, ensuring safety, and delivering high-quality PV systems on rooftops and ground mounts. You’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge solar tech, climb to new heights (literally), and help power a cleaner future.

What You’ll Do

• Lead on-site solar installs—rooftop or ground mount
• Direct crews, assign tasks, and ensure top-tier quality & safety
• Handle tools, measurements, racking, flashing, and minor electrical work
• Install projects adhering to Freedom Forever plan sets
• Flashing penetrations as needed to ensure project quality
• Ensure all work is performed in strict compliance with Freedom Forever policies, applicable codes (Ex: NFPA-70, IRC, IFC, CA-T24, etc.).
• Communicate with the team and with customers
• Load, transport, and lift materials (up to 50+ lbs)
• Follow all plans, codes, and safety protocols
• Travel to job sites and represent the company with pride

What You Bring

• 1+ year of PV installation experience (6+ months as a crew lead)
• Strong knowledge of solar systems, tools, and installation methods
• A leader’s mindset: organized, safety-focused, and motivating
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in all conditions
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Great customer service, you perform well on a team, and never back down from a challenge
