Intern, Data Engineering & ML Pipeline

Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain scalable data pipelines (batch and real-time streaming) using modern data engineering frameworks.
• Integrate and process data from diverse sources - including APIs, structured/unstructured datasets, IoT sensors, and streaming platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to architect and implement AI-driven data workflows and ML pipeline components.
• Work with cloud and Big Data technologies to develop reliable, high-performance data platforms and analytics systems.
• Automate data workflows and develop reusable engineering components to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Apply analytical thinking to design data-driven solutions and support innovation across data & AI initiatives.
• Contribute to the development and optimization of production-grade pipelines, ensuring robustness, scalability, and fault-tolerance.
• Participate in projects building next-generation Renewable Analytics platforms and AI-assistant-powered data engines.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Background in Data Science & Analytics, Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and modern data processing patterns
