Job Description

Are you a technologically competent, curious student who enjoys solving problems and wants real hands-on IT experience in an organisation that makes a global impact?

At Global Wind Organisation (GWO), we're looking for a motivated Student Assistant to join our IT team. You'll work on real operational tasks from day one, help keep our digital workplace running smoothly, and develop valuable skills in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

As part of the GWO Secretariat, you will become an integrated member of our IT team responsible for delivering reliable day-to-day operations. You'll be the first point of contact for colleagues needing assistance, and you will directly contribute to building a strong and mature IT foundation that supports our global mission.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will help support and continuously improve our IT operations by:

  • Providing first-line IT support for Microsoft 365, laptops, phones, and meeting room systems
  • Handling IT requests and incidents professionally and with a service mindset
  • Assisting with user administration, access management, and onboarding/offboarding
  • Maintaining and updating IT process and operations documentation
  • Contributing to improvements in IT operations and user experience
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth daily operations

What You Bring

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's programme (IT or a related field)
  • Minimum 18 months left in your university enrollment
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 or similar tools
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Analytical mindset, service-minded, and a clear communicator

Practical Details

  • Location: GWO Copenhagen Office
  • Working pattern: Part-time (2 days a week at the office)
  • Team: Reporting to the Head of IT
  • Start date: As soon as possible
