Senior Finance Analyst

Job Description

The Controlling and Reporting group is in charge of ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting. This includes compliance with the Company's Financial Guidelines while securing active engagement with stakeholders. The group also acts as a business partner for Regional, Project, or Group stakeholders and makes sure that the financial activities-driven decisions are taken on a good financial business case, which can and will be followed upon.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for complex accounting and financial analysis. Prepares reports efficiently and effectively, utilizing advanced technical and financial knowledge
• Prepares and reviews complex standards and responds to adhoc request for analytics and to provide support for business profitability, case preparation, and investigation into financial performance, and are key in enabling decision support
• Ensuring that management reporting for actuals, budgets/forecasts, controls, inventory reconciliation processes, and accrual management is in place and is working in preparation for SOX compliance and internal and external reporting readiness
• Responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining efficient and cost-effective process controls
• Engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues and business stakeholders to efficiently solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any Accounting or Finance courses
• At least 4 to 6 years of work experience in Controlling & Reporting or equivalent finance function
• With proficient analytical skills relevant to financial analysis
• A diligent worker who shows initiative and effectively learns while managing complex responsibilities in demanding conditions
• Knowledge in using the ERP System. Experience in SAP
• Experience in project construction or manufacturing accounting is desired
• Good communication and presentation skills
• BPO/Shared Service experience
• Flexible in work shifting schedules

Competencies

• Exposure to data quality management and keen on accounting details, MEND (Month End Close) reconciliation, and data analysis. Mend reporting and issue management
• Knowledge in Accounting Estimates and Revenue Recognition, particularly Completed Construction Method (CCM) and Percentage of Completion Method (POC)
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Excel. Macros is beneficial
• Efficient documentation and process mapping experience
• Has an effective ability to learn new and complex processes for migration
• Detail-oriented and able to perform under tight deadlines
• Skilled in communication, stakeholder management, and business partnering
• Has a continuous improvement mindset in terms of process, and continuously aspires for professional growth
