Project Manager Software Development (m/w/d)

Job Description

Manage new development projects inside Global Engineering focused on software activities across the different Nordex portfolio platforms, assuring budget, quality and timeline of the project

• Processing the project scope with interdisciplinary project teams (mainly but not limited to Engineering and Service)
• Evaluation of project ideas and support up to approval
• Align schedule and scope of own projects across the product platform with other project managers
• Report to the program director of Turbine Serial Development as well as escalation to relevant committees Coordination of the necessary resources with line and project managers
• Coordination of technical aspects and risk management with chief engineers and divisional management
• Organization of prototype tests and ramp-up activities in the operation areas

Your Profile

• Diploma/Master's in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology or similar
• Project Management experience required (PM certification preferred)
• Several years of experience in wind turbine industry, preferably on electrical and control functions
• Very good MS office skills (including MS Project Server)
• Experience in an ERP and PLM system is advantageous
• Team worker, customer & solution oriented, clear and structured communication and leadership skills. High quality awareness and assertiveness
• Intercultural experience necessary
• Fluent in English, beneficial skills in Spanish and German
• Experience: Relevant experience in an Engineering or project management position in wind industry
• Availability to travel
