Business Analyst (m/w/d)

We are seeking an adaptable and highly collaborative Business Analyst to join the landmark Snowy 2.0 project. In this critical role, you will be the driving force that aligns complex project objectives with seamless system delivery.

This isn't a position for someone looking for a predictable, routine-driven week. In this role, no two days are the same. Your schedule will require you to seamlessly pivot between facilitating critical requirements workshops with site engineers, advising on system optimisations, and strategising asset information and data handover readiness with the quality and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the Ultimate Connector: Drive true collaboration across engineering, construction, quality, commissioning, and operations teams.
• Translate the Complex: Engage with diverse stakeholders to capture project requirements, translating complex business needs into clear, actionable artifacts (like process maps and user stories).
• Facilitate & Advise: Run engaging workshops and act as a trusted advisor, ensuring everyone is aligned on information management, system implementation, and project readiness.
• Drive Quality & Strategy: Ensure all requirements perfectly align with the broader handover strategy, asset lifecycle, and our contractual deliverables.

About the location

This role is located at our Project Head Office in Cooma, NSW, working Monday to Friday, with relocation and housing support available for the right candidate

About you

• Exceptional People Skills: You are a natural communicator who can seamlessly interface with highly technical teams (like engineering and construction) as well as project management and quality control.
• Adaptability: You thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift, and you love the challenge of tackling new and unique problems every day.
• Technical Translation: A proven ability to take complex requirements and turn them into clear functional specifications, process maps, and user stories.
• Strategic Thinking: A strong understanding of business analysis principles, with a knack for identifying process improvements and providing solid, actionable recommendations.
