Would you like to help shape Vattenfall's next generation of data, analytics, and planning solutions and contribute to our journey towards fossil freedom?

Within Enterprise Collaboration Solutions, our Enterprise Information & Communication Solutions team manages and develops digital solutions supporting information and communication, risk and compliance, planning, reporting and business analytics across Vattenfall.

Our SAP analytics landscape is evolving around SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), supporting enterprise analytics as well as financial and project planning scenarios.

We work closely with business stakeholders, architecture teams, delivery teams and technology partners to provide reliable services while continuously developing our internal capabilities.

We are now looking for an SAP Datasphere & Analytics Planning Specialist to strengthen our internal team. The role combines hands-on expertise in SAP Datasphere data modelling and SAC Planning with an interest in the evolving SAP Business Data Cloud ecosystem.

What will you do?

As an SAP Datasphere & Analytics Cloud Planning Specialist, you will work across the data and planning landscape, translating business requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions.

You will contribute across the solution lifecycle, from requirements analysis and modelling through development, testing, performance optimization, operational support, and continuous improvement.

A key part of the role is to build capability within the team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, sharing knowledge, and helping colleagues develop their expertise.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Design, develop and enhance SAP Datasphere data models, including semantic and consumption-ready models supporting analytics and planning use cases.
  • Develop and maintain SAP Analytics Cloud Planning solutions, including planning models, stories, data actions, advanced formulas, input forms and related planning components.
  • Support both planning and analytical use cases across SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Apply performance optimization techniques across Datasphere data models, SAC models, stories and planning solutions.
  • Support the integration and consumption of data from SAP S/4HANA, including an understanding of ABAP CDS Views and clean-core principles.
  • Assist Service Delivery on SAP Datasphere administration topics relevant to ongoing operations and Vattenfall BDC platform.
  • Work with Data Access Controls and user authorization concepts, ensuring appropriate access to data and planning applications.
  • Contribute to SAP BDC data product concepts, including the future development and consumption of standard and custom data products.
  • Develop knowledge and capabilities around SAP BDC Object Store and emerging BDC capabilities as the platform evolves.
  • Work with SAC and Datasphere Seamless Planning concepts and contribute to their adoption within relevant planning scenarios.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, UAT, releases, troubleshooting and operational/SLA support.
  • Advising business stakeholders on core SAP Datasphere modelling across multiple business areas, with the ability to balance local requirements with Group-wide standards, reuse and consistency.
  • Analyze and resolve issues relating to data modelling, integration, planning logic, authorization, and solution performance.
  • Create and maintain technical and user documentation.
  • Actively contribute to knowledge transfer, coaching and training of colleagues to strengthen Vattenfall's internal SAP analytics capabilities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, platform management, architects, internal development teams and external delivery partners.

Qualifications

Who are you?

You are a hands-on SAP analytics professional who is comfortable working across data modelling and business planning. You understand that successful analytics solutions require more than technical development. We believe you bring

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere, particularly data modelling and semantic modelling.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, covering both Analytics and Planning.
  • Solid practical experience with SAC Planning, including planning models, data actions, advanced formulas, input forms, and planning stories and applications.
  • Understanding of planning processes, preferably including financial planning and/or project planning.

  • Experience with performance analysis and optimization of data models and analytics/planning solutions.
  • Good understanding of data access, Data Access Controls and user authorization concepts.

  • Takes ownership while remaining open to ideas and feedback from others.
  • Willing to actively train, coach and enable colleagues rather than becoming a single point of technical dependency.
  • A pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Curious and willing to develop skills as SAP BDC, Datasphere and SAC capabilities evolve.
  • Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A structured way of working with a strong focus on quality and sustainable solutions.
