As ESG Investment Advisory Manager, your core responsibility will be to position CIP to deliver investments and projects which are aligned with CIP’s ESG framework and to establish and lead the ESG Investment Advisory team.
You will join a highly motivated international group of best-in-class colleagues with advanced experience in investments in energy and infrastructure assets.
You will be part of the ESG team in the Legal, Risk, ESG and Compliance function, which has direct impact on the long-term growth of CIP and works closely with other local and global teams within CIP including the Investment teams, Investor Relations team, and technical and project teams around the world.
Key responsibilities will consist of
- Leading the ESG advisory work on the full scope of E, S and G topics throughout pre-investment and post investment phases
- Integrating CIP’s ESG framework into project development and delivery
- Creating, implementing and evolving operational procedures and documentation across the entire project lifecycle
- Over time, building a global team to support regionalization of the ESG investment advisory function
- Close interaction and collaboration with the local portfolio companies and project partners to deliver ESG projects
We look for the following in a candidate
You have experience as a leader and with managing a wide stakeholder group. You are holding relevant qualifications in ESG, ideally including several years of experience with project-level implementation of ESG initiatives on infrastructure/construction projects.
As we have chosen to disclose according to the highest SFDR standards, regulatory requirements are part of our daily work, why it is of essence to CIP that we operate in a structured manner with strong focus on adherence, risk mitigation, documentation, reporting and governance. Contractual negotiations also form part of the work, i.e. in relation to incorporating ESG issues in procurement and contractual negotiations.
We expect you to be enthusiastic for ESG and responsible investment, have a positive personality and a drive for change. You feel comfortable working both individually and in a team, and have a good work ethic.
