Power Market Manager

As a Power Market Manager, you will be managing our engagement in the power market in Denmark. This role involves managing our existing market services and spearheading the development of future services related to our Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include

• Managing and developing our collaboration with market participants (BRPs, Electricity Suppliers, Utility offtakers)
• Managing our market participation in flexibility markets
• Developing new market services for offtakers
• Handling balancing contracts and communication with BRPs
• Engaging in market communication with potential utility offtakers
• Market intelligence on pricing and contract structures
• Handling sleeving agreements between corporate, BRP, and Better Energy
• Establishing a setup with market participation through BRPs
• Handling ad hoc services related to our Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
• Developing an offtake strategy for our merchant offtake from our production assets

So, who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following background and qualifications:

• Experience in the electricity market from electricity supplier, BRP, utility sector or other relevant market participant.
• Knowledge on the Danish power sector and its’ participants
• Great skills in business development
• Solid experience in MS office
