Application Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Application Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bergen, Norway. With several new developed maritime battery products we're dedicated to create innovative energy storage system solutions for our customers.

Reporting to Team Lead Applications Engineering of the Company, the Applications Engineer is responsible for follow-up of the technical part of the customer projects.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to understand their battery system requirements and technical specifications. Configure system solutions based on customer requirements
• Support risk analysis and class certification of battery installations
• Support our integrators on mechanical, electrical and control system issues
• Handling of project technical documentation.
• Identify and implement areas for product and process improvements
• Other tasks as assigned

Work experience and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or Technical College) in a relevant Engineering discipline, preferably electrical. Relevant work experience can compensate for formal competence, e.g. experienced electrician
• Good digital skills and experienced user in MS tools. Experience with CAD and ERP system is an advantage
• Maritime experience and/or power system integration experience is an advantage

Personal qualifications

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented, self-starting individual with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Fluency in both English and Norwegian is a must, accompanied by strong written and verbal communication skills.
