Role Scope

Business development Manager of Biogas is a professional in charge of ensuring objective is to identify and access the biogas-to-beneficial use (Renewable Natural gas) Italian and surrounding markets for, where Ameresco would fulfill the Ownership, design, build and operator roles. With their teams complete all projects on time and within budget. They prevent scope creep while also managing individual tasks for their respective teams with keen attention to detail to avoid any unpleasant surprises.

Typically, the Business development manager will:

  • find/create and develop new business opportunities in Italy for the Company
  • represent the opportunity to the potential customers/partners basing on Company models, properly adapted to European/Italian environment;
  • support technical/legal/finance team creating a customized business case/budget for each tangible opportunity;
  • support technical/legal/finance team and Project Manager setting permissions, binding agreements, authorizations, and everything necessary to the deal closing;
  • support the Project Manager during plan execution, start and operation;
  • coordinate marketing activities.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5 years or more of experience in business development of energyproduction assets,or equivalent
  • Strong Knowledge of the gas sector and renewable ga ( business models, regulations)
  • Knowdledge in business modelling and economic assessment of renewable gas projects
  • Fluent English

Desirable

  • Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competences in commercial negotiation and partnership negotiation
  • Strong skills to manage project teams and partnership.
  • Paragmatic and efficient when dealing with operational issues
