Do you thrive when interacting with and coordinating for internal and external stakeholders? Are you interested in new technology and have a technical background combined with planning skills? Then this position is for you! We are looking for a Special Task Coordinator for Vestas.

The planning team of the Plant and Turbine planning NCE is a sub department of Plant Technical Support NCE, which support the Service business in whole northern and Central Europe with technical knowledge and acting as the link between Engineering and these local business units. Main tasks for the department include: Providing direct support to engineers in troubleshooting and repair tasks, remote troubleshooting in Power Plant Controllers and SCADA solutions remotely, remote software upload, creating work instructions, providing answers to technical questions from internal and external customers, and taking part in customer meetings.

Providing high quality technical support to the service organizations in the NCE region to reduce windfarm downtime and enhance performance.

Being a part of Technical Support NCE, you will be included in a high experience and dedicated team, taking leadership for implementing Vestas' strategy, supporting the Service organizations and local business units with technical knowledge, secure customer focus and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and monitoring of incoming task from internal and external stakeholders (through diverse systems such as SalesForce, C4C, (S)VGA)
  • Gathering information if task is unclear or information is missing
  • Planning of tasks to team members and to peers as well as balancing workload between team members
  • Material ordering for related tasks and alignment with dispatchers for team visits on site
  • Ensuring timely execution of WorkOrders and Support Tickets
  • Allocating and directing resources for unplanned schedules
  • Escalating issues regarding possible overload and shortage of work to Management as appropriate, making recommendations to make effective use of resources as well as performing simple remote trouble shooting and controlling tasks

Qualifications

  • Training in a technical field and several years of professional experience or commercial training in a technical field with several years of professional experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive experience with MS Office
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, further language skills are appreciated
  • SalesForce experience is merited

  • Confident and innovative mindset with a good attention to detail and a systematic approach with good investigative and problem-solving skills
  • A Systematic and inquisitive approach with attention to detail
  • An ability to stay professional in a time-sensitive setting and to handle varying workloads
  • Skills to guide and control and ability to assign tasks and instruct others effectively
  • Great planning and organizational skills
  • Driver's license B in Sweden

Additional information

Your primary work location can be Malmö, Sweden, but for the right candidate the location can change to another office within the NCE. You should expect some travel activity, approximately 10 days per year.
