TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Product Owner at our location Amsterdam who will contribute to this and that might be you?

Your contribution to TenneT

Equigy is a European joint Venture company between six European TSO’s (TenneT Netherlands, TenneT Germany, Transnet BW, APG, Swissgrid and Terna) deploying the crowd balancing platform (CBP), to act as the gateway between TSO national markets for flexible power delivery (ancillary services markets) and aggregated Distributed Energy Resources (DER). Until now, TSO national markets for flexible power delivery were in most cases accessible only to large B2B market players with large industrial power generation and power consumption assets such as power plants or industrial production lines. Since these ancillary markets present an opportunity of billions across Europe annually, unlocking these as a B2C market via the CBP allows DER owners to gain significant additional value, greatly enhancing the justification for the investment case for such DER devices. In turn, more participation of such devices unlocks a huge potential of additional flexibility for TSO's and DSO's for balancing and congestion management. Equigy’s CBP realizes this ambition, amongst others by creating an easy and standardized market access for aggregators to encourage more participation of DER in today’s markets.

  • As Product owner you perform a pivotal role in the realization of the crowd balancing platform, thereby contributing to the energy transition.
