Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for our ongoing projects, incl. preparation, planning, designing, implementation, and handover of security projects, to ensure adhering to budgets and meet all necessary deadlines. You’ll primarily focus on technical installations, e.g., intrusion detection and alarm systems, latest camera and radar systems, and different access control systems. You’ll be offered exciting, international, and challenging tasks where the solutions involve a great deal of responsibility and require great independence and good collaboration skills.

You’ll be part of Global Security where you, together with your colleagues, will be working with security projects at our power plants, offshore and onshore wind farms, maintenance and operation facilities, port and harbour areas, production sites, warehouses, electricity storages facilities, solar farms, P2X, and office facilities worldwide. You’ll be a part of our Physical Security team, consisting of three security technician specialists, working with security projects worldwide. As a team, we prioritise helping and supporting each other in an open and friendly working environment to provide the best solutions. We embrace learning opportunities, share experiences, and support development.

You’ll play an important role in

  • being responsible for Security project budgets, timelines, and cost controlling while performing stakeholder management during project period
  • establishing and managing the delivery of an Ørsted Security Risk Mitigation Program to close the gaps identified towards the new policy and ensure Secure Ørsted asset around the world
  • ensuring alignment between the Global Security and Physical Security policy against relevant standards
  • taking a leading role to get things done whilst creating a positive ambience in the team
  • being open to new ways of working.

To succeed in the role, you

  • possess experience with project work, preferably from the security or construction industry and ideally with international experience
  • have experience with budgeting and project management e.g., PRINCE2, AGILE, or PMP
  • make positive impact and impression and are collaborative and communicative with a track record in actively seeking collaboration with peers and involvement of others in decision making and project work
  • have the ability to work effectively in a multi-national organisation
  • are conceptually skilled with a documented ability to grasp the essentials and create solutions and are innovative regarding work with and mitigating exposures around the physical security area
  • are a proactive high performer with the ability to drive change and ‘make things happen’, translating ideas into execution and results.
