Project Finance Manager

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in structuring, analyzing, and managing financial aspects of renewable energy projects of The Blue Circle.

The expectation is that the Senior Project Finance Analyst has the skills and expertise to execute project finance transactions with some support to be provided where required from the team/group leaders.

Main Responsibilities

Project Structuring and Financial Modelling

• Collaborate with project development teams to collect target data of the projects
• Review and update financial models to assess project feasibility, incorporating applicable financing structures and ensuring alignment with internal project investment criteria.

Due Diligence

• Lead financial due diligence efforts for potential investments/financing, working closely with technical, legal and ESG internal working group &/or external advisors.
• Review all key contracts and understand key bankability points, in particular power purchase agreements and construction arrangements.

Financial Documentation and Deal Execution

• Prepare and comment on the term sheets.
• Review financial documentation, and work with all stakeholders to achieve successful closing of financings.

Relationship Management

• Coordinate and maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions locally and overseas.
• Act as a key contact point between the finance team and project development teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Market Research and Analysis

• Stay up to date on the industry trends, market conditions and regulatory changes affecting project finance in the renewable energy sector in countries where TBC has project presence.

Others

• If required, support the Company’s business (pitch, proposals, project brief) for banks presentation.
• General business development activities
• Other duties and responsibilities as reasonably requested by the management from time to time.

Qualification / Job Specifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 5Years of relevant experience in data analytics, financial modelling and valuations, project, and corporate related fund raising.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, with a demonstrated ability to structure complex financial models, enterprise valuations.
• Basic knowledge of project finance principles, credit analysis, and risk management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonalskills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate with key stakeholders.
• Lead and train project finance analysts in Asia countries.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced finance-related degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• Familiarity with renewable energy project finance structures and industry dynamics is a plus.
