Senior Six Sigma Quality Analyst

The Information Technology (IT) Business Unit is seeking a Senior Quality Analyst that is highly skilled in data analytics and lean methodologies to contribute to the IT Quality Program. In this role, the Senior Quality Analyst will be responsible for leading and identifying projects in alignment with strategic initiatives critical to the success of the IT department, and mentor and support IT employees seeking various levels of six-sigma certifications. Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage through influence are key to success in this role. In this role, you will manage data strategies and complex quality improvement initiatives. This individual will utilize lean methodologies and apply data analytics to support strategic decision-making that will support the business needs.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and leads cross-functional quality projects including data collection, analysis, and implementation of recommendations through completion.
• Collaborates with IT leadership and stakeholders to understand and align quality analytics initiatives with the strategic goals of the organization.
• Plans and executes data-driven assurance and advisory projects to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of controls, identify risks, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Monitors project progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Engages with stakeholders at various levels to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and buy-in for quality improvement initiatives.
• Drives a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to existing quality analytics processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Draws insights from data and makes recommendations.
• Conducts data analytics to support key business unit initiatives.
• Monitors end-to-end business processes data for opportunities to improve.
• Supports Corporate Quality Six-Sigma program.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Overview

Employees in this job serve as a full-time quality project manager. This job utilizes Six Sigma (including lean) and Q1 Story tools and techniques to coach and lead teams in key business improvement projects.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensures that all project documentation is maintained accurately

• Leads cross functional six sigma quality projects including data collection, analysis, and formal recommendations
• Leads formalize process mapping and Kaizen activities as needed
• Creates and communicates formal presentation of project work and recommendations to business leaders at various levels of management
• Teaches prerequisite classes and coursework for lean, yellow/green/black belt certifications
• Compiles and analyzes highly analytical problem solving analysis
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED
• Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
• Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
• Experience:3+ years
