Site Manager

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Site Manager to join our team. This fixed term role is based in Whitianga until the end of July 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising our construction site of a solar farm project. You will prepare the site prior to commencement of construction work, supervise implementation of project and meeting client and stakeholder requirements.

In this role you will

• Be the first point of contact on site for clients, subcontractors and local bodies/community
• Perform site inductions, toolbox talks and safety inspections
• Develop project plans, schedules, scope of works and quality management plans
• Develop and maintain risk and issues register for site
• Prepare and check site reports, designs and drawings
• Supervise contracted staff and assigned work packages to support overall construction
• Undertake project costs analysis and monitor progress against budget and forecast
• Manage logistics of personnel and materials

About you

• Technical trade qualification
• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in the construction industry
• Minimum requirement of basic computer skills
