Senior Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer specializing in Power Converter Applications for New Product Development within renewable energies, you will play a vital role in our engineering team. Your expertise will drive the conception, design validation, and successful launch of innovative power converter solutions. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop and execute robust software solutions to ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance, quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Implementation/Design from open loop control algorithms on i.Mx RT1064 with eCos as OS
• Implementation of closed loop control algorithms
• Hardware / Software Co-development (Hardware interface design)
• Transfer/Design models into C-Code
• Perform root cause analysis in complex software architectures
• Implementation of fieldbus protocol like CANopen, Profinet via Anybus modules
• Create scripts for automatic build machines (Scons based)
• Usage of HIL systems for test execution (Typhoon)

Our requirements

• Knowledge expected
• C/C++, Python
• Multiprocessor architecture
• Experience with microprocessor controlled industrial applications
• Solid English communication skills (multinational team Denmark/Poland/Germany)
• SCRUM / Agile methods

Organization

• Office location is in the city centre of Krakow
• Hybrid work environment is offered (mobile / office)
• Occasional business trips to other KK locations required KK is searching for an experienced engineer nevertheless we are also open to offer a chance to high potential engineers with less experience.
