Project Coordinator
ecoLong is a rapidly growing climate-tech startup focused on making buildings smarter, more efficient, and more grid-responsive. We partner with utilities, government agencies, and community organizations to deploy intelligent building controls, energy affordability solutions, and distributed energy resource (DER) technologies.
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of ecoLong's building energy programs, hardware deployments, and customer-facing initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates interested in clean energy, smart buildings, program operations, customer coordination, and project management.
Objective
The Project Coordinator will support the planning, execution, tracking, and communication of ecoLong's technology deployments and energy programs. This role ensures projects stay on schedule, documentation is accurate, communications are clear, and field operations run smoothly and projects deliver successfully.
Primary Responsibilities for the role (including, but not limited to)
- Coordinate daily project activities, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Maintain project calendars and monitor progress to ensure on-time execution
- Schedule installations, walkthroughs, technical checks, and customer engagements
- Serve as a primary point of contact for building owners, property managers, residents, and utility partners
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including tracking sheets, installation logs, site notes, and compliance materials
- Work with engineering, operations, and product teams to streamline project execution
Ideal candidates will possess the following
- B.S.,/M.S., in Urban Planning, Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, Public Policy, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with tools like Atlassian - Jira/Trello, Microsoft Business Suite - Sharepoint, Salesforce, etc.
- Bonus: Experience with utility programs, contractor coordination, or building systems.
- A passion and interest in clean energy

Salary and Benefits
Commensurate with experience annual base salary ranging from $45,000 to $55,000. Benefits include flexible, partially employer-funded health insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, and flexible work arrangements.
