Job Description
New Energy Nexus (www.newenergynexus.com) is an international nonprofit organization supporting entrepreneurs and innovators building the future of clean energy. Across more than 15 countries, we accelerate startups, strengthen clean energy ecosystems, and develop market-based solutions that accelerate the global transition to a clean energy economy.
In Thailand, New Energy Nexus is building the country's clean energy workforce, supporting entrepreneurs, and strengthening the enabling ecosystem needed to rapidly scale distributed renewable energy.
The Role
Thailand is entering a critical period of distributed solar growth. Achieving national energy security and decarbonization goals will require not only technology and financing, but also a highly skilled workforce capable of designing, installing, financing and maintaining rooftop solar and energy storage systems.
The Program Manager (Solar) will lead NEX Thailand's workforce development and market activation programs under the New Energy Skills / Market Makers initiative. The role combines ecosystem building, workforce skills training, partnership development, program management, industry engagement and policy collaboration to address key barriers limiting rooftop solar deployment.
Working closely with government agencies, industry associations, utilities, financial institutions and solar companies, the Program Manager (Solar) will help build a stronger solar installation ecosystem while creating new employment opportunities across Thailand.

Why Join New Energy Nexus Thailand?
This role offers the opportunity to help shape Thailand's clean energy future by working at the intersection of workforce development, market creation, finance, policy and entrepreneurship. Rather than focusing on a single project, the Program Manager (Solar) will help build the ecosystem that enables distributed solar to scale across Thailand.
You will collaborate with leading government agencies, utilities, financial institutions, international partners and clean energy entrepreneurs while contributing to one of the region's most ambitious workforce development initiatives. The work will directly support Thailand's energy transition, create high-quality green jobs and strengthen access to affordable clean energy for communities and businesses alike.
