Senior Business Analyst (m/w/d)

SmartestEnergy is a fast-growing global organization on the lookout for a talented Senior Business Analyst to join our high-performing IT team on both regulatory and transformation programmes.

You will play a pivotal role in aligning business goals with effective technology solutions. You’ll act as a key liaison between stakeholders across all levels of the organization, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements.

In this role, you’ll not only lead critical initiatives but also mentor and guide Business Analysts and Junior Business Analysts.

Your core responsibilities will include identifying opportunities for process optimization, analysing and documenting business requirements, and ensuring successful delivery of technology solutions that meet strategic objectives.

What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

• Experience as a Senior Business Analyst or similar role before;
• Can provide advice, guidance and expertise to promote adoption to business/stakeholders of methods and tools and adherence to policies and standards;
• Has planned and scoped, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for large, complex initiatives;
• Has in-depth knowledge of a broad range of industry-wide modelling techniques;
• Advises on the choice of techniques and approaches and influences customers accordingly.

What does hybrid working mean to us?

Hybrid working typically means 2 days in the office location listed on this advert and 3 days working at home each week. Some occasional travel to our other offices may be required.
