The internship in LevelTen Energy’s Madrid Office will support sales and customer success activities as part of the Customer Engagement team. You will learn about the renewable energy industry, how to research renewable energy developers in Europe, and execute demand-generating email campaigns.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Customer Research
- Assist the Developer Engagement team in researching renewable energy developers to target for specific campaigns.
- Assist with researching customers to meet at upcoming conferences in the Fall to ensure the Developer Engagement team is very efficient and prepared for events.
- Demand Generation
- Work with the Account Management team to generate demand for renewable energy procurements by sending targeted emails and following up with phone calls and/or zoom calls.
- Perform introductory calls and onboarding demonstrations for new developers on the platform.
- Salesforce Administration
- Learn the most common Customer Relationship Tools in the industry, (like salesforce.com and others), by aiding the team in cleaning up customer data. This will require determining duplicate or old data, and researching customers online to correct and update the system.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- An interest in renewable energy and learning about accelerating the clean energy transition.
- Excellent English skills, both written and verbal. Other European languages would be a plus.
- 3rd or 4th year College Student studying business, environment, energy or another relevant field.
- Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships.
- Excellent organizational, time and project management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a professional and timely manner.
- Ability to willingness to do research and pay attention to details.
- Initiative and self-motivation to work independently at times.
