Warehouse and Operations - Lead/Assistant

Job Description

We're seeking a dependable, organized Warehouse & Operations Assistant (or Lead) to support daily operations, logistics, and material coordination. This person plays a key role behind the scenes-keeping our warehouse organized, ensuring the right materials reach each job site on time, and helping our installation teams stay efficient and ready to go.

Essential Functions

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming stock, materials, and equipment.
• Maintain warehouse inventory and ensure safe, clean working conditions.
• Load/unload trucks, prepare job kits, and stage materials for field teams.
• Deliver materials and tools to local job sites as needed.
• Support project managers with scheduling, labeling, and general logistics.
• Track deliveries and communicate clearly with field and operations teams.
• Perform general facility upkeep and assist with light maintenance when needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in warehouse, construction, or field operations preferred.
• Forklift or material-handling experience a plus (training available).

Preferred Background

• Experience in solar, electrical, or construction environments.
• Retired tradespeople or those with strong organizational backgrounds are encouraged to apply!

Compensation & Benefits

• $20-$30/hour (based on experience and role level: Assistant or Lead).
