Senior Project Manager, Hydrogen Electrolysis plant

The company is establishing large-scale production sites for pressurized green hydrogen, based on 100 percent renewable energy, at different locations in Norway. We will operate an intelligent logistics network to ensure cost-efficient and smart delivery of Green Hydrogen-as-a-Service to customers in Europe.

Job Description

To strengthen our fast-growing team, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager, Hydrogen Electrolysis Plant

We are strengthening our team and are searching for new colleagues who can take responsibility for executing and managing Gen2 Energy Nesbruket hydrogen plant according to goals and objectives, inclusive procurement- and contracting. Support and work on behalf of the EVP Project Development in projects, applications, calculations and technology presentations. Ensure commitment to Company results and objectives. The Senior Project Manager, Nesbruket will report to the EVP Project Development and become part of a creative competence environment in the company. Location preferably to be around Mosjøen or South-east Norway.

Job description

• Act as Project-, Procurement- and contracting Manager for dedicated Project Developments (early phase / execution) reporting to EVP Projects Development
• Accountable for promoting HSEQ and quality mindset as well as commercial awareness
• Responsible for deliveries in accordance with contractual requirements and specifications, in compliance with company policies, schedules and budget
• Establish and manage a cross-functional project team consisting of internal team and multiple sub-contractors.
• Responsible for project scope of work/supply, schedules and financial results
• Daily project follow-up, progress and cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting
• Accountable for promoting HSEQ and quality mindset as well as commercial awareness

Education and desired skills

• Bachelor or Master's degree within business/engineering or equivalent education
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with 5 years in a Project Management role
• Experience with strategic planning and goals
• Experience from management of early phase studies
• Experience from management of large scale (>500 MNOK) EPC projects
• Excellent multidiscipline understanding
• Good knowledge of project execution models from large EPC projects
• Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language, both verbally and written
• Understand the big picture around climate and environment
• Hands-on skills and mindset
• Strong team player with excellent analytical, organizational and communicative skills and you are able to work under pressure
