Job Description
As a Marketing & Communication Lead at Elestor, you will play a key role in a dynamic, fast-growing, and international scale-up that is developing breakthrough long-duration energy storage technology. As part of the Business Development Team, you will be responsible for both shaping and executing the full scope of Elestor’s marketing and communication strategy, while also taking an active role in commercial activities. Therefor you are comfortable on stage, in front of clients, and speaking to diverse audiences.
This is a strategic and hands-on role. You will build and manage Elestor’s global brand identity, craft compelling narratives, and coordinate to deliver consistent and high-impact messaging across all channels. You will ensure a strong digital presence and lead the creative direction across campaigns, content, and events while also taking the stage yourself when needed to present Elestor’s vision to clients, investors, and partners.
You’ll be a visible and trusted representative of Elestor, working closely with leadership to build recognition, trust, and visibility for our mission in the global energy transition.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Elestor’s global marketing and communication strategy in line with our ambitious growth trajectory;
- Build and manage a strong, consistent brand identity across all touchpoints—digital and physical;
- Manage and grow Elestor’s online presence (website, social media, campaigns, newsletters), ensuring consistent tone, branding, and frequency on all channels;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, clients, and partners through effective communications;
- Translate complex technical concepts into accessible, engaging narratives for diverse audiences (clients, investors, media);
- Deliver powerful keynotes, pitches, and product presentations (at meetings, international events, trade fairs, and conferences);
- Coordinate Elestor’s participation in industry events, from strategic planning to on-site execution;
- Analyze market trends and translate insights into targeted marketing initiatives and lead generation campaigns;
- Ensure all communications are aligned with Elestor’s technical and commercial objectives.
Profile
You are a motivated marketing and communications professional with a strong interest in technology and innovation. While you may not have a technical background, you’re naturally curious and enjoy learning how complex ideas work, then translating them into clear, compelling content. You’re skilled at bringing structure and creativity together to tell stories that engage, inform, and inspire.
You feel energized in a dynamic, fast-moving environment and are comfortable balancing strategy with execution. Whether it’s crafting social media content, managing a campaign, deliver a powerful pitch or preparing an event, you approach each task with initiative and attention to detail. You know how to keep messaging consistent across different channels and stakeholders, and you enjoy working both independently and collaboratively as part of a growing team.

Education, Skills and Experience

A BSc or MSc in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business Administration, or a related field;

Proven experience in marketing, branding, or communications—preferably in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;

Strong track record of contributing to brand and business growth through:
- Creating and managing impactful marketing campaigns
- Developing clear, strategic messaging for complex (technical) topics
- Coordinating successful events and stakeholder engagement moments

Affinity with sectors such as renewable energy and cleantech;

Confident using LinkedIn and other digital platforms to build brand visibility;

International mindset—experience in international teams or markets is a plus; interest in global collaboration is essential

Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English, German language skills is a plus;

A hands-on, positive, and entrepreneurial mindset; you take ownership, bring ideas forward, and follow through with execution.
