We are looking for Trainee - Electrical & Automation (Entry-Level) with the main responsibility in on-site installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical and automation equipment.

The location for this position is in Harfleur, France.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Trainee E&A you will focus on these responsibilities:

• Execute installation, preventive maintenance, repair, and basic commissioning according to work instructions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot first-line electrical/automation issues; escalate complex cases with clear findings.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a tidy, hazard-free work area.
• Communicate status, findings, and next steps to the team.
• Complete accurate service reports, checklists, timesheets, and parts usage.

Requirements for the position

• Vocational or technical diploma, or a degree, in Electrical or Automation Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics and to follow work instructions safely.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for panels, PLCs/HMIs, drives, sensors, and power distribution.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% as required.
• Clear communication in English.
