Solar or Electrician Installer - Lead Foreman and Crew, Roof and Electric Teams

We are currently seeking several positions to join our Solar Team in Albany, New York; The Solar Installer, installs, builds and helps to manage the construction of solar projects. Our installation team works alongside suppliers, Project Management and the operations team to ensure successful completion and closeout of the projects designed, and happy customers.

Responsibilities Include

• Reviewing plans for sites
• Laying out solar racking systems per design on ground and roof mounted systems
• Installing photovoltaic (PV) systems, and other energy products in commercial and residential settings
• Climbing ladders and working on roof top to complete mounting
• Installing required labels on solar system components and hardware.
• Communicating with the customer when on-site
• Consideration and attention to cost, quality, client needs, satisfaction and workmanship during the entire process.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of solar, construction or roofing experience preferred
• Experience using hand tools & power tools
• Comfortable working at high elevations (ladders and pitched roofs)
• Communication is positive, team oriented, clear and motivating
• Comfortable working outdoors year round
• Attentive to detail
• North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) certification favored
