Disse fremskridt viser Factorials engagement i at presse grænserne for solid-state batteriteknologi (kilde: factorialenergy.com).

Seneste udviklinger

The Opportunity

Factorial Energy is seeking a Formation Process Equipment Technician to join our Cheonan, South Korea site. This role is responsible for daily operation, routine preventive maintenance, on-site troubleshooting, minor optimization, and production stability support for full formation process equipment, including Electrolyte Filling, Formation Charging/Discharging, Degassing, Folding, OCV testing, and X-Ray inspection machines for silicon anode pouch cell lines. The incumbent will support pilot verification, NPI trial, and mass production ramp-up, assist equipment engineers with commissioning, parameter validation, and equipment retrofits, and ensure stable line operation in a fast-growing, cross-functional global manufacturing environment.

In this role, you will

  • Perform daily startup inspection, standardized operation, breakdown troubleshooting, and routine preventive maintenance for full formation process equipment (Electrolyte Filling, Formation, Degassing, Folding, OCV, X-Ray) to reduce unplanned downtime and sustain line stability.
  • Complete regular equipment lubrication, fixture cleaning, component replacement, and precision calibration; accurately maintain maintenance logs, failure records, and spare part consumption data for audit traceability.
  • Adjust on-site process parameters including filling volume, formation charge-discharge curve, degassing pressure, folding precision and testing threshold to resolve common defects such as liquid leakage, poor formation activation, residual gas, folding offset and testing abnormality.
  • Support equipment FAT/SAT on-site acceptance, pilot line EVT/DVT/PVT trials, new product NPI verification, and mass production parameter iteration; assist engineers in equipment debugging and minor structural optimization.
  • Collaborate with production, process, quality, and equipment teams to handle on-site equipment abnormalities, track improvement actions, and complete CAPA closure for recurrent mechanical and electrical failures.
  • Support multi-spec pouch cell changeover, fixture replacement, and on-site process verification; collect on-site equipment pain points and feedback optimization suggestions to engineering and vendor teams.
  • Monitor real-time equipment operating status, summarize failure modes of formation & testing stations, and assist in improving line OEE and cell consistency/yield.
