Skeleton's Commercial department is looking for a driven and experienced Business Development Manager - SuperBattery Stationary applications (m/f/x) to drive growth and market penetration for SuperBattery in the stationary applications. SuperBattery is a revolutionary energy storage solution that combines ultra-fast charging, high power density, and exceptional lifespan to transform stationary applications.

As Business Development Manager (SuperBattery - Stationary Applications, US) you will be responsible for introducing Skeleton's SuperBattery products to the US market. This role is crucial for positioning Skeleton Technologies as a trusted partner in high-power stationary storage and driving adoption among key customers and stakeholders.

You will identify market opportunities, engage with potential customers, establish strategic partnerships, and convert leads into long-term business relationships. This is a unique opportunity to shape the rollout of a disruptive energy storage technology in one of the largest markets worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Entry & Growth: Drive the introduction and commercialization of Skeleton's SuperBattery solutions for stationary applications in the US.
  • Customer Development: Identify, approach, and acquire new customers in data centers, utilities, renewable energy operators, industrial power users, and system integrators.
  • Sales & Pipeline Management: Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, from lead generation through negotiation to contract closure.
  • Partnerships: Develop strategic relationships with distributors, EPCs, and technology partners to strengthen market presence.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitive landscape, regulatory frameworks, and customer requirements to align Skeleton's offerings with US market needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Skeleton's engineering, product, and marketing teams in Europe to ensure customer feedback drives product development and localization.
  • Representation: Act as Skeleton's representative at industry events, trade shows, and conferences in North America.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Energy, or a related field.
  • Proven track record (5+ years) in business development, sales, or key account management in energy storage, batteries, power electronics, or related sectors.
  • Strong network in stationary applications markets, ideally including data centers, grid operators, or industrial energy users.
  • Ability to drive complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and long lead times.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach to building business from the ground up.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the US and occasionally to Europe.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
