The Position
Arevon is recruiting for the position of Manager, Business Systems (Salesforce), an outstanding opportunity for individuals seeking an exciting, high-growth work environment in one of the most important industries for the 21st century.
The Manager of Business Systems (Salesforce) will be responsible for leading the strategic direction, governance, and evolution of our Salesforce-based platform, Sitetracker. Ensuring the platform supports business growth, operational efficiency, and user adoption. This hybrid role combines architectural leadership, platform administration, and technical oversight, allowing you to shape the platform strategy, guide teams and stakeholders, and oversee development and integrations.
As the platform lead, you will partner with business and technical stakeholders across the organization to define scalable solutions, enforce best practices, drive adoption, and support enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our Salesforce-based platform, Sitetracker at the company, enabling business processes, improving operational efficiency, and maximizing ROI on platform investments. As a member of the Business Systems & Analytics team, the Business Systems Manager will report directly to the Sr. Director of Business Systems & Analytics and will be based in Scottsdale, AZ.
Key Responsibilities
Architectural Leadership (60%)
- Define enterprise Salesforce architecture, including system design, integrations, data model strategies, and multi-cloud considerations.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks, development standards, and best practices.
- Oversee major Salesforce implementations, migrations, and integrations with multiple enterprise systems.
- Provide guidance and technical oversight on custom development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integrations.
- Advise senior leadership on platform roadmap, technical investments, and optimization opportunities.
- Lead initiatives leveraging Salesforce automation, AI features, and cross-platform integrations to drive business outcomes.
Administration & Platform Management (30%)
- Manage Salesforce environments, including org setup, user provisioning, permissions, and security.
- Monitor system health, performance, and compliance with internal policies and security standards.
- Lead data management initiatives, including data quality, migration, and governance.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), go-live activities, and change management.
- Champion user adoption and deliver training or enablement programs as needed.
- Develop and track KPI's for user adoption and value creation from utilization of the platform.
Technical Oversight & Support (10%)
- Provide oversight and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architecture standards and best practices.
- Assist with proof-of-concept solutions, tactical enhancements, and integrations as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of Salesforce experience, with significant exposure to architecture, administration, and technical oversight.
- Strong experience defining scalable Salesforce solutions and implementing enterprise-level governance.
- Proficiency with Salesforce clouds, APIs, integration patterns, and data architecture.
- Hands-on experience with configuration, administration, and selective development (Apex, LWC, SOQL).
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, Platform Developer, or Administrator.
- Previous experience with Sitetracker and/or widely used ERP's.
- Experience in the renewable energy industry.
- Familiarity with enterprise integrations (ERP, marketing automation, HR systems).
- Exposure to compliance and audit frameworks (SOC 2, GDPR) and data governance practices.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and environment management.
- Demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation initiatives and improve adoption across business units.
