Job Description
All Energy Solar is seeking a Full Time Lead Installer to join our team. The Lead Solar Installer will lead a team of 4-5 individuals in providing an efficient and quality solar installation.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions
- Provide and lead training, mentorship, and feedback to a small team of individuals.
- Responsible for achieving efficient goals for the crew, and for communicating metrics with the team.
- Use power tools, ladders, digging equipment while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Communicate with homeowners, business owners, and management on installation progress.
- Problem solve to maneuver road blocks on installations.
- Manage cleanup of job site.
- Complete all required paperwork in a professional and efficient manner.

- Other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
Skills/Qualifications

1 year of PV solar installation experience required.

2 years of rooftop or construction experience required.
- Thrives in a team environment.
- Proven ability to successfully lead a team.
- Highly organized.
- Resourceful and creative.
- Portrays a high level of professionalism.
- Has a positive and helpful demeanor.
- Comfortable climbing ladders, and working on rooftops.
- Experience working with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to repeatedly lift 50-75lbs.
- Comfortable working long hours in extreme environments (cold, heat).
- Must be able to pass and clear a Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) screening.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid and active state driver's license.
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable working extended hours in extreme environments/climate (cold, heat, wind, etc) (frequent).
- Regularly encounter pitched roofs, at heights (with proper safety gear).
- Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and lifting (frequent).
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50-75 lbs. at a time (frequent).
- Must be able to transport and drive for short and long distances for work related events/job sites and be able to travel with crew for occasional overnight, or multiple night, trips within our service area (including but not limited to: IL).
Compensation & Benefits
- This is a full-time non-exempt (over time eligible) position eligible for up to $30.00+ hourly in base and productivity incentive bonus pay (depending on qualifications & experience).
- Profit sharing bonus based on company performance.
- PTO accrual of up to 80 hours annually with an additional 40 hours beginning year 2.
