Job Description

As a Senior Inspections Technician at Freedom Forever, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality, safety, and performance of residential solar systems. Pay Rante $25 to $30
What You'll Do
- Perform diagnostic, troubleshooting, and maintenance services on residential solar systems prior to inspection.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on PV inverters, string boxes, solar panels, and related components.
- Assist with commissioning solar arrays and monitoring systems during installations.
- Execute roof repairs, re-roofs, and drywall fixes as needed.
- Install and inspect PV modules, inverters, and monitoring equipment.
- Respond to service calls and perform electrical wiring (AC/DC) and voltage testing.
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete RMA processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, NEC codes, and AHJ guidelines.
- Travel to various job sites as required.
What We're Looking For
Education & Certifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in solar or electrical maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with grid-tied inverters, roof racking systems, and PV component testing.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong understanding of NEC codes and solar equipment (Enphase, Solaredge, SunPower, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical panels, monitoring systems, and battery backups.
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Comfortable standing, climbing, kneeling, and working on rooftops for extended periods.
