Job Description
As Head (f/m/d) of Order Execution Grid Technologies Products - Europe, you will lead Regional teams across Europe in ensuring seamless execution product projects across the regions. In your role you will be responsible for the end-to-end project management, including order execution, delivery precision, quality assurance, environmental health and safety (EHS) and logistics, ensuring the expected profit and quality level and high customer satisfaction, all in close collaboration with regional and global stakeholders across GT and SE.
Your day will be dynamic, involving strategic engagement with regional teams to assess risks, fine-tune execution approaches, and ensure the successful delivery of projects. You will work alongside cross-functional counterparts, such as finance teams, technical experts, and customers, to drive transparency, mitigate risks, and uphold timelines. By addressing challenges and fostering collaboration, you will play a pivotal role in achieving key business objectives, including revenue targets, optimized cash flow, and enhanced customer satisfaction.

- Regional Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to a regional dispersed team, ensuring excellence in project execution.
- Team Development: Empower and mentor regional project management teams, cultivating a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
- Execution Excellence: Responsible for critical aspects of project execution, including order fulfillment, delivery management, quality control, logistics coordination, and adherence to EHS standards.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify risks, devise effective mitigation strategies, and ensure transparency in project execution to prevent disruptions.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Foster strong relationships with regional stakeholders and customers, understanding customers, and addressing escalations effectively to consistently exceed expectations.
- Financial Stewardship: Leverage strategic insights to manage risks and opportunities, driving revenue growth, cash flow optimization, and improved financial outcomes.
What You Bring
- Educational Foundation: A university degree in electrical/electronic engineering or a related technical field.
- Industry Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in project management, operations, or order execution, preferably within the energy transmission sector.
- Negotiation Acumen: Demonstrated ability to navigate complex global negotiations with successful outcomes.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to foster strong relationships with customers, bringing market insights leveraging sales/marketing acumen.
- Certifications: Project management certifications (e.g., PMI, IPMA) are an advantage but not mandatory.
- Leadership Excellence: Proven leadership and communication skills, with experience managing and inspiring multicultural teams across diverse geographies.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is a valuable asset.
- Adaptability: A willingness to travel internationally and adapt to varying regional contexts during project execution.
