Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Process Performance Management and Reporting
    • Develop an appropriate metrics hierarchy, identify and communicate responsibilities within teams. Responsible for overall quality assurance of metric results and reporting, variance explanations, and collaborating with team members for appropriate actioning to deliver targets on a sustainable basis. Publish accurate progress reports on issues encountered, aligned action plans, and recommendations.
  • Issue Management and Resolution
    • Centrally track and report IT issues, partnering with IT and action parties to identify appropriate actions to bring about resolution, escalating on a timely basis, as necessary. Publish accurate progress status reporting for transparency and management oversight.
  • Process Improvement
    • Be an ambassador for ESSA (eliminate, streamline, standardize, automate) and build capability within teams and with stakeholders. Identify and create a robust pipeline of improvement opportunities for his process to optimize efficiency, standardization, and eliminate waste in processing. Be adept in identifying business and process benefits to prioritize, secure support, and execute improvements with teams. Participate in setting policies and procedures, facilitate knowledge transfer and training materials for a seamless change implementation.
  • Technical Skills Development
    • Develop deep end-to-end business process knowledge, within FSS and upstream processes in the business, understanding process and team interdependencies. Develop competence in associated applications and other technologies to provide support to process and business challenges. Identify knowledge gaps within teams and develop programs to address these.
  • New Project/Process Implementation
    • Oversee the delivery of quality business requirements and other project-related documentation, including procedural documents, flow diagrams, job aids, project plan, etc., into a comprehensive, complete and accurate process. Employ project management disciplines to plan, design, and execute on new projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Finance/Management, or Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant work experience in Accounting
  • Experience in specific end-to-end finance processes assigned
  • Advanced skills in MS Office
  • Exposure to ERP platforms - SAP is beneficial
  • Consistent delivery on metrics and service level agreements
  • Proficient in written and composition skills for succinct communication and documentation
  • Can articulate ideas clearly and engage stakeholders effectively
  • Adept in data analysis, can draw insights and relevant conclusions
