As we upgrade our Billing and Customer Record Systems, we're creating exciting opportunities within our Energy Advisory team in Dublin.
These full time permanent roles are ideal for people who love solving problems, working collaboratively, and making a real difference for customers. If you bring energy, enthusiasm, and strong customer or administrative experience - we'll give you the tools, training, and support to shine.
As a Operations Energy Advisor, you will answer inbound customer queries and be the first point of contact for SSE Airtricity through all of our channels. We believe in treating our customers like family and always going the extra mile in whatever we do. We are looking for passionate, motivated and hardworking people to join our team
Throughout your time with SSE Airtricity, you will be trained to be multi-skilled to support across other departments and adapt to different business needs where required. These areas may include our Customer Service and back office teams.
You will
- Take ownership of customer interactions - resolving payment issues quickly and professionally
- Manage and prioritise overdue accounts, focusing on aged debt recovery
- Communicate with customers through phone, email, and written correspondence to maintain strong relationships and clear updates
- Ensure all activity complies with Utility Regulator (UR) and Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU), Engage Code and Data Protection
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, customers, and third-party partners to arrange payment plans and keep accounts up to date
You have
- Experience in a customer-facing or operational environment (contact centre or similar)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations confidently
- Excellent organisation and time management, with the ability to meet deadlines
- A flexible approach, comfortable supporting other teams when business needs change
- Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for customers
