Job Description
In this role, you will be part of a dynamic 24/7 shift team responsible for optimizing the dispatch of our renewable assets, in particular wind, solar and pump storage assets, batteries and conventional assets for district heating. You'll play a key role in the energy transition by helping us increase efficiency, adopt advanced analytics, and support the integration of decentralized energy systems.
What You'll Do
- Operate in a 24/7 shift setup to support intraday optimization of our asset portfolio;
- Maximize portfolio value through real-time decision-making based on market prices and asset availability;
- Ensure reliable delivery of ancillary services and participate in intraday auctions;
- Collaborate on the development of automation tools, algorithms, and IT systems in an agile environment;
- Monitor data flows and quality, and contribute to continuous process improvement;
- Coordinate with power plant teams on operational status and maintenance planning;
- Decide on how we run our assets.
Qualifications

- A university degree in engineering, economics, natural sciences, meteorology or a comparable qualification;
- Ideally, at least one year of relevant work experience;
- Interest in energy markets and/or experience in power plant operations is a plus;
- Strong analytical mindset and a structured approach to problem-solving;
- Basic experience with Python and a curiosity for data-driven decision-making;
- Willingness to work in a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays;
- Proficiency in English and German; Dutch is a bonus.
