European Energy is a green company with exponential growth. We develop, construct, and operate projects within solar, wind, and BESS assets globally, as well as Power-to-X. Our core values are the foundation of everything we do: In it together, Trust and Courage, Ambition, Excitement, Inclusion, and Agility.

Your new team

Our overall Commercial Asset Management team comprises close to 30 colleagues, located in Australia, Brazil, Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, and Poland. Our primary responsibility is to provide commercial asset management services for renewable energy assets for external customers and European Energy's IPP portfolio.

You will work closely with commercial and technical colleagues responsible for the Nordic market and specialists across our global portfolio. Your role will be to manage complex renewable energy assets on behalf of mid-to-large- scale investors, working closely with the team.

We are a committed and motivated team where knowledge sharing and open dialogues describe the very core of our collaboration. We value collaboration, a sense of shared and individual responsibilities, and a flat hierarchy.

Your new role

As our new Commercial Asset Manager, you will lead and manage all commercial aspects related to asset management for select renewable energy assets. You will help shape and strengthen our asset management function and solutions, creating long-term stakeholder relationships.

You will have interfaces with other teams in the business and numerous opportunities to define your role and grow as a professional.

Areas of Responsibility

  • You will take full commercial ownership of complex renewable energy assets on behalf of mid-large-scale investors.
  • You will ensure sustainable and trustworthy relationships with customers, local partners, utilities, PPA partners, landowners, etc., and close collaboration with internal stakeholders, e.g., Finance, PPA team, and Project team.
  • You will be responsible for the asset strategy and optimisation levers for your portfolio, and drive value outcomes and best practices.
  • You will handle income and expense control on your portfolio.
  • You will follow up on financial budgets, deviation analysis, and liquidity forecasts.
  • You will handle contract negotiation and follow up on contractual obligations (ratios, guarantees, warranties, etc.).
  • Drive improvements initiatives within the digital, commercial, and financial processes and on asset performance.

Prerequisites to Succeed in the Job

  • You have a master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • You have at least 4+ years of experience and relevant work experience, for example, as an Asset or Commercial Manager for high-value assets, Business Analyst, Controller, or similar
  • You are skilled in MS Office.
  • Fluency in English is required. Full proficiency in Swedish is considered an advantage.

As a person, you are proactive, ambitious, collaborative, improvement-oriented, and result-oriented, and you are eager to develop yourself personally and professionally. You are curious and have a commercial mindset that you use to bring ideas and solutions forward with the team and internal stakeholders.

We offer

  • A passionate and specialized work environment where enthusiasm for our joint work shines through in the hallways and where collaboration between different disciplines is the key to success
  • We have an entrepreneurial approach to our work. In daily life, it means it is not far from thought to action, and you will have trusted responsibilities no matter what level of seniority you are on
  • We prioritize employee development. You will be enrolled in our People Development Program to ensure continuous learning and development
  • We have a shared vision for the green transition, and what we do as a company, we do together. Each year, we gather colleagues from around the world for a global company trip to connect socially, strengthen our bonds, and create lasting memories.
  • Flexible working hours and the possibility to work from home.
