This role is part of Landis+Gyr's EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) business, which is expected to become an independent company under new ownership by mid-2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals. We are looking for a Testing Designer to our HW Testing team in Jyväskylä to build a world class operation. As a Testing Designer, you will be responsible for translating internal requirements, functional specifications and standards into well-developed, effective and efficient test solutions.
Your duties will include
- Testing environment and software development for functional testers
- Test automation development
- Participating in device and communication related functional testing
- Ensuring test approaches are clearly documented with full results to an auditable standard
- Actively contributing to the creation of a fast-paced, high performing team
- Ensuring quality, customer focused solutions are achieved with ongoing testing and test automation
Expectations for skills and experience
- BSc or MSc degree in software/electronics engineering or another relevant field
- Experience in using software automation tools e.g. Labview and C programming language
- Familiarity with test equipment and related control tools and drivers.
- Good communication skills in English
