As part of our Electricity Industry Operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring SmartestEnergy Business is fully prepared for the transition to Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS). You'll help make sure customers are onboarded smoothly, billed accurately and settled against precise consumption data, keeping all industry information aligned, compliant and delivered on time. Working at the heart of our operational processes, you'll contribute directly to a seamless customer experience and our successful qualification into the new MHHS operating model.

In this varied and collaborative role, you'll work closely with third-party metering agents, customers, and internal teams to resolve queries, cleanse data and keep industry flows running to KPI targets. You'll build both practical and conceptual expertise in electricity settlement while supporting the development of new processes and training. If you enjoy problem solving, relationship building and developing your skills in an evolving UK energy landscape, this is an excellent opportunity to grow and make a meaningful impact.

What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

  • Experience with Microsoft Office packages and can demonstrate a strong level of computer literacy;
  • Acute eye for detail ensuring all work is performed with the highest levels of accuracy and all required forms of due diligence are upheld;
  • A background in the electricity industry;
  • Experience in process development, testing and implementation.
