We are looking for a Staff Controls Engineer to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to Principal Engineer, Controls and based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning models to monitor and evaluate fuel cell system performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy machine learning solutions to drive system control changes for optimum performance and reliability
- Work with large datasets to extract meaningful insights
- Participating in control code development, automation and firmware release
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, embedded systems, control systems, or a related field
- Bachelor's 6+ years, or master's degree with 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering, computer engineering, embedded systems, control systems
- Strong programming skills in Python, MATLAB or other programming languages
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib
- Experience in developing model predictive control, porting algorithms to embedded systems and optimizing code
- Experience with version control software, Github/Gitlab preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Salary Ranges:
$130,400.00 - $187,600.00
