Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager for Central America will be a driving force in expanding the company's market share within the solar energy sector. They will cover regions targeting new business opportunities with a special focus on high-added-value solar equipment. The ideal candidate is a dynamic professional with a strong solar industry background, capable of securing new accounts and cultivating relationships with solar installers and partners. This role demands a high level of technical expertise and the ability to communicate the value of premium solar solutions to clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow adoption of Tigo's TS4 platform and monitoring solutions in central America, such as Mexico, Panama, Costo Rica.
- Identify and develop new opportunities in residential, C&I, and utility segments.
- Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with key distributors, EPCs, and installers
- Work closely with Tigo's customer success team to ensure successful deployments and after-sales support
- Stay up to date with regional solar regulations, incentives, and MLPE adoption trends
- Provide competitive insights and customer feedback to product, marketing, and executive teams
- Own forecasting, pipeline management, and performance metrics using Tigo's CRM and sales tools
- Represent Tigo at local events and trade shows such as Trade shows and customer events
- This Role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Experience of starting and scaling businesses in the region
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Highly organized, proactive, and data-driven
- Proficient with Salesforce CRM tool
