The Facilities Maintenance Technician will conduct regular inspections, perform preventive maintenance, and diagnose and resolve breakdowns on facility HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems as required.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair facility infrastructure issues to minimize downtime.
- Monitor and maintain building utilities, including compressed air, lighting, and water systems.
- Assist with the installation, upgrades, and commissioning of new facility equipment related to HVAC, plumbing, or electrical.
- Maintain accurate logs of inspections, work orders, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, environmental regulations, and company standards.
- Support contractors and vendors during facility projects.
- Respond quickly to facility emergencies and provide corrective action
- This role is intended to perform non-production work

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
Working Conditions
- Factory - The worker may be subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, vibration, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to temperature changes or exposure to chemicals. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, odors, dust, mists, and gases. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and lab coats. May be required to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Additional Requirements
This job requires the ability to effectively communicate orally (and occasionally in writing) with co-workers and supervisors, and the ability to understand and quickly react to job-related oral and/or written directions, safety information, and communications (which are generally in English), as our manufacturing processes are constantly changing and evolving.
