Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a Tools Inspector to join our Supply Chain Operations team. This role is critical to ensuring the safety and compliance of lifting tools and equipment across multiple sites. You will be responsible for inspecting, certifying, and labeling tools, managing documentation in SAP, and supporting the certification process both at the main warehouse and on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and certify lifting tools and equipment according to company standards.
  • Label all tools with the next inspection date.
  • Document all material transfers in SAP accurately.
  • Handle lifting equipment on-site to enable certification.
  • Drive to certification venues and set up equipment as per defined plans.
  • Scrap damaged tools following safety guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during inspections.

Travel Requirements

Willingness to travel 50% of the time, including 2-3 consecutive weeks and 4-5 months per year.
Occasional weekend travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Basic technical knowledge of tools and lifting equipment (inspection experience is a plus but not mandatory).
  • Previous experience as a technician, service tech lead, or stock keeper preferred.
  • Medium-level IT skills (SAP knowledge is a plus).
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel extensively.
  • Good English communication skills (all communication will be in English).
