We are hiring students in Electrical Engineering to join our Power & System Integration team in Trondheim and Stord, Norway.

What you will be doing

As part of our team, you will contribute to the design and integration of electrical systems for marine applications. Your tasks may include:

  • Designing and documenting electrical systems for hybrid and fully electric vessels, with a focus on energy storage (batteries), generators, converters, motors, and power distribution.
  • Performing simulations and analyses of electrical power systems and their components to assess performance, improve efficiency, and enhance reliability.
  • Creating schematics and wiring diagrams using industry-standard tools.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to understand marine standards and safety requirements.

As an ideal candidate, you have:

  • Studies in Electrical Engineering (B.Sc. or M.Sc.), preferably with focus on power systems, automation/control system, or marine technology.
  • Interest in sustainable solutions and electrification in the marine industry.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar is an advantage.
