Job Description

Skeleton Technologies is looking for a hands-on Head of Finance to lead and execute our finance function in a fast-moving, production-driven environment.

As Head of Finance, you will be fully responsible for managing and actively executing the company's financial activities. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining strategic influence with day-to-day financial execution. You will shape Skeleton's financial strategy, support growth, and ensure financial discipline across manufacturing and operational functions.

How you can help us on the journey:

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, ensuring alignment with production and operational needs
  • Build and manage a high-performing finance team to support company growth
  • Develop and maintain financial controls, risk management, and compliance systems
  • Manage audits, EU grant reporting, and relationships with banks, auditors, and third-party service providers
  • Implement and improve financial processes to maintain efficiency as the company scales
  • Report financial results and insights to the Supervisory Board and shareholders

Requirements

Are you the one we are looking for?

  • Senior finance leadership experience (Director, Head of Finance, CFO, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and audits.
  • Background in production, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial controls, risk management, and compliance.
  • Very good practical knowledge on IFRS principles.
  • Experience managing banks, auditors, and EU or grant-funded projects a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with operational execution skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Pragmatic, hands-on, and comfortable in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
